Spring Break! :DDDDDDDD
Spring Break officially begins April 6, 2012. Lasting 10 days (1/3 of April) that gives a ton of time to either be productive or lazy. Personally i think i'll fall between those two. There are no specific plans set as of now, but usually things spontaneously happen and that in itself gives me something to do. I have been wanting to go to Six Flags with a few people but it isn't set in stone yet, and so far the weather for next week isn't looking too warm. Whatever you may be doing for Spring Break the point is to enjoy the time off and brace yourself for the remaining mere weeks left of this school year. Have fun! :)

HSPA Testing
HSPA Testing, a test that comes around each year primarily for the junior class. Being i senior i took this test last year and passed with minimal effort. This year luckily i got to sleep in for 3 days and handle some other work with the extra time. Anyways, my views on the test are pretty simple. It's a test employed by the education system to set apart the 'smart' from the 'not so smart' people. However, this form of testing isn't really fair and equal to all people. There are those people who are great students and get good grades but when it comes to taking important tests they don't fair as well because of the pressure put upon the student. The more a certain test is hyped up the more worried a student becomes and even if they prepare for it, it does not mean they will do well. On the flip side there are students who are good students all around and will do well or they may be poor students but still do well on the test. In conclusion these state tests are not a good form of testing someone's ability academically because everyone works differently. These tests also exist for middle school students and even elementary students which just makes me question this country's direction in educating students and then measuring their capacity.

Midterm Week
January 23-27 more commonly known as Midterm Week was nothing out of the ordinary for me. Being a senior it was the last set of high school midterms i'll ever have to take which is good news. As for the difficulty of my tests for my classes I'd give it about an average. I never study, just because, and i pull off A's and B's depending on the class. However, the week has ended and now comes the downward spiral that is senioritis.

2012!
There are quite a few interesting things happening this year for me, big things actually. I'll be graduating and heading off to college which will be a HUGE change. On top of that I will be moving to Paramus from Maywood after over 10 years of residing in that town. I can't complain really since it wont be a huge distance away from everyone i know. 2012 is looking to be very eventful and I'll be looking forward to it all.

Holiday Break >:D
During this holiday break there won't be too much going on until New Years rolls around. My family doesn't celebrate x-mas, because we're not affiliated with any religions but thats just us. Now what will i be doing to occupy myself with all this free time? Well for one it really won't be too much free time, i'll be doing some work for my dad to get some extra money seeing how Star Wars: The Old Republic is around the corner and i can't pass that opportunity up. When I'm on my own time i'll be playing none other than Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. What blog would this be if it didn't talk about RPGs, right? The game released around a month ago (11/11/11), but I' m sure most of you know that already. From the sweet rolls to taking arrows in the knee this game has shook the entertainment industry and it won't be forgotten. It's quite a feat too considering another behemoth launched on 11/8/11 that was expected to sell millions which it did, but that didn't stop Skyrim from making huge sales too. Those of you who are on the PC should check out www.skyrimnexus.com/ and treat yourself to some community created mods, there is no reason not to, it's like free DLC! Next time I'll be covering SWTOR and hopefully i'll have some news on Guild Wars 2, Arenanet is really keeping the lid closed >.< we'll see, until then Happy Holidays!
